Help Tabard and nineteen Launch Our New Jazz Nights Hello, Tabard fans: This season, Tabard is partnering with San Jose's newest jazz ensemble, nineteen, for a series of Jazz Nights that I think you'll love! As a music lover, I'm very excited by this development, which will bring electrifying live jazz performances to the intimate, cabaret-style setting of Theatre on San Pedro Square! To kick off the series, we'll be joined on Saturday, Oct. 15, by San Francisco jazz and blues vocalist Pamela Rose. A hit with audiences across the U.S. and around the world, Pamela Rose is that rare breed of entertainer who connects solidly with her audience by always delivering a personal and unforgettable musical experience.Take a listen, courtesy of YouTube. Backing up this sultry jazz diva is one of the South Bay's premier jazz orchestras,nineteen, under the leadership of Gus Kambeitz. Most of its 19 members are working musicians and music teachers, but they are also engineers, marketers, a financial advisor, and a CEO. This is the talented group that served as the house band for Tabard's highly acclaimedStompin' at the Savoy last season. It's an honor to be collaborating again with Gus and this amazing group of performers. Theatre on San Pedro Square is a perfect venue for jazz, and it's wonderful to kick off this new series with a talent such as Pamela Rose.
